Free Domains
All two and three letter .eu domains, which consist of a pure letter combination are already registered or reserved on behalf of the European Union, e.g. for their institutions. Even combinations with unusual letters - e.g. yyj.eu or yqv.eu - are not available for general registration anymore. Also the very low amount of two and three letter .eu domains, which will be deleted are registered within ms after the execution again.
Conclusion
There are practically no two and three letter eu-domains, which can be registered directly. Mixed three digit combinations of letters and numbers - e.g. 3f6.eu or h6h.eu - are still available. Only a few exceptions of this kind of combinations are valuable - e.g. b2b.eu - which was sold in 2009 by www.ricklatona.com for 9.165 USD for one of our customers. Pure two and three letter combinations on the other hand are extremely popular. Have a look at the prices realized for sold names of the last years to see yourself.
